A record for everyday medication

Cardiac Companion is being built for people who take medication for heart conditions. A daily schedule pairs reminders with a record of taken and skipped doses, so a person can review their routine without reconstructing it from memory.

Reminder times account for the person's time zone. The patient app targets Android and iOS, with an encrypted local database for offline use.

Sharing that starts with consent

Care-team sharing is controlled by the patient. A separate clinician portal is being developed around that consent, with the mobile app and web services keeping medication records connected when a network is available.

The product records what happened. It does not recommend a medication, suggest a dose or change a treatment plan.

The public site and the app

The website currently accepts waitlist sign-ups. Its illustrated medication schedule uses sample names and doses; it is a product example, not a patient record.

The patient app and clinician portal remain in development. Production health-data routes are disabled while release requirements are completed, so the waitlist should not be mistaken for an available clinical service.
